The 1970-71 Dad’s Cookies set of NHL hockey cards features players from all 14 teams, including the expansion Buffalo Sabres and Vancouver Canucks. The set consists of 144 cards and shows each player wearing a NHLPA jersey. The cards are not numbered and all have a common back.
Important cards include Bobby Clarke of the Philadelphia Flyers and Gilbert Perreault of the Buffalo Sabres. These two players have highly valued rookie cards in the 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee set. Absent from the Dad’s Cookies set is Darryl Sittler of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Sittler’s RC in the OPC set is as highly valued as Clarke and Perreault.
The cards are unusually sized with a width of just 1 7/8 inches but quite tall at 5 3/8″. The checklist below uses an arbitrary numbering system with the cards sorted alphabetically by last name.
